GOTHAM EARLY MUSIC SCENE (GEMS)
is an organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of early music in New York City. It serves professional and amateur performers and ensembles, presenters, audiences and enthusiasts. Allan Kozinn of The New York Times wrote that GEMS will bring "cohesiveness and vitality to the city's patchwork of early-music groups."
