Rosenmüller: Lamentations of Jeremiah

ARTEK

The Midtown Concerts holy week tradition continues with a special one-time performance at Immanuel Lutheran Church featuring ARTEK.

ARTEK performed three of the seven surviving Lamentations of Jeremiah composed by the 17th-century German composer Johann Rosenmüller on Midtown Concerts in 2015. On March 29, they will perform the remaining four of these intensely dramatic Lamentations with soloists Rebecca Mariman, soprano; Ryland Angel, tenor; and Peter Becker, bass-baritone accompanied by theorbo and organ.
