With Jubilant Song: Welcoming Yuletide
A program featuring medieval, Renaissance, and contemporary Yuletide selections, including beloved Slavic carols Shchedryk and Tell Us, Shepherds. The program also includes 13th-century chants from the Codex Wolfenbüttel; several 15th-century carols; and the 16th-century gems Nouvelles, nouvelles by M. Nicholas Martin and Tau Garçó, la durundena by Bartomeu Càceres. Contemporary works include I Sing of a Maiden by Eleanor Daley; and Michelle Roueché’s Lux Aeterna.
