| Flying Forms This baroque trio will present a program entitled “New Music for Old Instruments,” with two compositions written for the ensemble itself. The pieces are “Sarabande” by Peter Winkler and “Nuevos Misterios” by Nissim Schaul, and the latter of which features amplified harpsichord and violin.

Cantori New York The critically-acclaimed chamber choir will perform, a cappella, two ensaladas by the Catalonian composer Mateo Flecha El Viejo, complete with of vocal sound effects, battle cries, and raucous exclamations.

| Four Nations Ensemble This baroque quartet will offer a sampling of Preludes, Passacaglias, Sarabandes and Tambourins by French composer Jean Marie Leclair. Leclair was a difficult personality but matinee idol of the violin, and wrote some of the most impressive yet sensuous music of the later French Baroque.
