Ivory Consort

The critically acclaimed Ivory Consort performs early music in the Jewish, Muslim, and Christian traditions, primarily from the Iberian peninsula.

They've mastered the vocal style, unusual instruments, and improvisation that is at the heart of this exciting genre.  Join Jay Elfenbein and his colleagues for a party and concert celebrating the release of their new CD, featuring the music of medieval Spain and Occitan.

DATE:    Saturday, November 17th

TIME:     1:30 PM - The concert will last two hours, with an intermission, followed by a reception for all.

PLACE:  St. Mark's Church on the Bowery, 10th Street and 2nd Ave.

TICKETS:   $12, $8 for seniors.  All tickets purchased at the door; no advance sale.

The new CD will be available for purchase!

Cash, check, and all major credit cards accepted.
