Musica Sacra returns to Carnegie Hall for its highly acclaimed annual performances of Handel’s Messiah. Led by Music Director Kent Tritle, recently called “Gotham’s choral man of the moment” by The New Yorker, these performances feature the Musica Sacra Chorus and Orchestra with superb soloists, soprano Julianne Baird, tenor William Ferguson, bass Kevin Deas, and countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo, winner of the 2009 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
Musica Sacra’s sublime performances of Messiah have become a holiday tradition and represent the longest run of the beloved oratorio by a professional chorus in New York City’s history – nearly 80 concerts in all!
