The internationally-acclaimed baroque ensemble REBEL will offer a concert at the historic and acoustically-excellent Bedford Presbyterian Church in Bedford, NY. The program, which features the celebrated Spanish soprano, Marta Almajano in a rare North American appearance, includes vocal and instrumental music by Castellanos, Durón, Nebra, de Salazar, Falconieri and Vivaldi. The instrumentalists in this program will be: Jörg-Michael Schwarz & Karen Marie Marmer, baroque violins; John Moran, baroque cello; Danny Mallon, percussion; Dongsok Shin, harpsichord; and special guest, Richard Savino, Baroque guitar.

There will be a meet-the-artists reception featuring Spanish delicacies and wine following the concert to which all are invited.

Enjoy an afternoon in the charming village of Bedford, New York, in the heart of Westchester's horse country.  There's a convenient MetroNorth train leaving Grand Central Station at 2:48 PM to Bedford Hills.  Then it's a short 5-minute taxi ride to the historic and acoustically-excellent Bedford Presbyterian Church.

Take an earlier train (they leave at 48 minutes after the hour every hour) and enjoy a picnic and a leisurely walk around the scenic Green and Village.
