A Concert for Children of All Ages

Sinfonia New York will be giving an hour-long program of music on Saturday, December 12th at 8 pm at Saint Patrick's Old Cathedral.
Sinfonia will be joined by Andrew Megill, guest conductor; New York Polyphony, the brilliant, mellifluous vocal quartet; the Sinfonia Choir; and two soloists: John Charles Thomas, baroque trumpet; and Virginia Brewer, baroque oboe d'amore.
The program will include the chorale movement from J.S.Bach's Cantata 140, Wachet auf, and the last movement of his Christmas Oratorio, Nun seid ihr wohl gerochen; Medieval, Renaissance, American and traditional hymns, carols and spirituals; and a reading of Clement Moore's Twas the night before Christmas.
Kids of all ages are encouraged to come listen, sing, and celebrate the season!
