The Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, conducted by John Scott, performs Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610 accompanied by England’s leading early wind ensemble – His Majestys Sagbutts & Cornetts and Concert Royal Strings. Soloists include Jolle Greenleaf singing the lead soprano role for which she was hailed by The New York Times critic James R. Oestreich. Steve Smith, also writing for The NY Times, described her recent performance as “sensational.” Other soloists include: Jennifer Ellis Kampani, soprano; Geoffrey D. Williams, countertenor; Oliver Mercer & Steven Caldicott Wilson, tenors; Richard Lippold & Christopher Herbert, baritones; and Craig Phillips, bass.
