TWELFTH NIGHT FESTIVAL December 26, 2011 – January 6, 2012
Building upon the successes of the Green Mountain Project’s annual presentation of Monteverdi’s monumental Vespers, Trinity Wall Street is creating, in collaboration with many of New York City’s leading early-music ensembles, a new annual Early Music Festival. Bach’s massive Christmas Oratorio, itself a collection of six cantatas written for performances on December 25, 26, 27, and January 1, 2, and 6—The Feast of the Epiphany.
