Restored highlights the modernity and creativity which formed and fermented in Cromwell’s London, bursting free after the Commonwealth period. Blending music from all strata of society, we capture the spirit of London as it becomes one of Europe’s most pluralistic and cosmopolitain societies of the early modern era.

A fondness for one another’s company and complimentary philosophies on music have resulted in bro/\dside. They create a rapport with our audience by bringing music to informal, intimate venues and we engage our listeners in a thoughtful dialogue about the nature, context and sensuality of 17th century music.
