Recent graduates of Juilliard's Historical Performance program, Rachel Prendergast, violinist, and Nicola Canzano, harpsichordist, have collaborated extensively and share a love of the early repertoire. Rachel and Nicola hold degrees respectively from Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music, University of Michigan, and The Juilliard School. Nicola is the founder of Nuovo Practica, which focuses on improvising in Baroque music and composing in the early music style.
