Relic is a conductorless period chamber orchestra that connects with audiences through intimate, original and dramatic representations of early music, and aims to bring performances to communities in all 50 states. Founded in 2022, Relic’s innovative programming and energetic stage presence has delighted audiences across six different states and the District of Columbia during its debut season alone. Members of Relic perform on original eighteenth-century instruments, or their replicas, and are fluent in the improvisational and ornamental languages of the Baroque and Classical eras.
