A celebration of the genius of the great English Renaissance composer, William Byrd, during this, the 400th-year anniversary of his death. Having composed only three settings of the mass ordinary, Byrd displays most perfectly his recusant Catholic heart in the triumphant setting of his Mass for Five Voices: "O Lord, Make thy Servant Elizabeth".
